Week: Three
Progress: Hopeful!
First let me share week two’s prompt! I completed one day late from the challenge dates, but I completed it! I am more excited about it then I thought I was going to be. I think mostly because it is something I have never done in my patterns, which was creating a motif that is an object... scissors! ✂️

Even being a day behind in only week 2 of this challenge, I can’t help but feel proud of going forward even when I felt unsure of what I was doing with my art. I wasn’t sure how it was going to come together, so I surprised myself with this one.
This week in my creative challenge - The Kitchen Curios week?
With the prompt Kitchen Curios, I started with absolutely no ideas. Nothing. I'm usually a floral or geometric girl, so this theme felt a little outside of my norm.
But then something sparked when I kept hearing about one trend that's having a big moment right now, the checkered pattern! Yup, something so simple, but it made think. So that is going to be my starting point.
Stay tuned…
Surface Design Immersion
Four years ago I came across a course that not just changed my art career, but my life. I know strong to say but it did. I am growing in my art, my business and my community. I put myself out there and I found my people. If you are looking for your people, you can learn more below.
